You should be very sedated when they take your wisdom teeth out, so no it shouldn't hurt. you will have some discomfort over the next several days. Next 2 to 3 days will be the worse but they will give you pain medication to take. Watch your intake of soda's and don't drink from draws. You don't want to get a dry socket, that can be very pain full but if you start having a lot of pain and the pain meds don't help, contact your oral surgeon cause they can pack it with this awful tasting stuff but Man it takes the pain away. Stick with soft foods. Good luck
