his tooth had chipped and you can see all the cavities he has when he opens his mouth he may need many filling and maybe even a root canal...he was never really taken to the dentist since he was like 12(his mom didn't really take good care of him) i am just scared that his teeth will eventully all chip...is there any suggestions of places i can go of call i live in maryland...PLEASE HELP

If you are in the Baltimore area, there is one place where you can get good dental care for about half what a private dentist charges-- The School of Dentistry at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
The treatment is indeed provided by dental students, but they are supervised at all times by instructors who are licensed dentists so the quality of care is as standard as can be.
If it's close to where your friend is, give them a call and see if they are taking patients.
