I would return to the surgeon or dentist who did the extractions for a look-see. Are you a smoker? Did you follow your post op instructions properly? Is there a foul odor or taste? You are on day 6 of your post-op time and really should be feeling better. The best thing is to return for a follow up.

It sounds like you might have whats called dry socket....you need to go to the dentist and get some antibiotics

poor love. had one out the otherday , they say theres allways someone worse off

Wisdom tooth, and the only thing I can suggest is to go back to the dentist or at least call him and let him know. my wisdom tooth didnt hurt at all once it was remove. but perhaps I had a higher pain tolerance or better drugs, call the dentist back maybe there is more he can do. taking motrin too often can lead to stomach ulcers.

no mension about your age. There wil be pain 2 to 3 days and you can take food as usual, but from your statement it is noted that the pain still continues and making you uneasy. The wisdom teeth outed by its own or thr' clinic? if on clinic, there they may have arranged proper checkup and medicined you. The main is teeth of our body. There, i feel some minor problem wil be there and it gives you pain. without knowing the fact, i can't suggest. now, you do one thing. without delay go to the dental specialist and narrate the happenings you met. He will check thouroughly and find out the pain problem and solve. it is generally happening to all, even i also suffered a lot by the teeth paid. your case is better, but in my case blood out non-stopped for some time and got relief after rushing to the dental clinic. good luck. you wil be cured and nothing to worry.

Has the swelling gone down? If not, and your still having pains There is no general duration for this problem; the severity and duration of the swelling vary from case to case. The instructions the surgeon gives the patient will tell the patient for how long they should expect swelling to last, including when to expect the swelling to peak and when the swelling will start to subside.
