What is this pain reliever the dentist used on me??!
Question: I had my wisdom teeth removed about a week ago and went for my follow up today. I still had some pretty bad pain and the oral surgeon pressed something into the open sockets. It was brown and looked similar to one of those incense cones and tasted like cloves (ewwww!) It was numbing and becuase I couldn't spit or swallow (No dirty minds!), I didn't get a chance to ask him what it was.
I tried Google-ing it and still can't figure out what it was. Any help?

idk but those pills made me feel soooo good! i remember passing out all the time!
