Braces emergency!! please help!!?!
Question: Hey, i get my braces off in like, 2 and a half weeks, andi was wondering, will they take all the glue off so it doesnt leave marks? and will they slenderize my teeth to make them more even on the tips of them>?? i remeber him telling me something along thoe lines, but im scared that he wont take all the glue off and that it will leave [a] mark[s] on my teeth. please help me!!!!

I just got my braces off a couple weeks ago. Don't worry about the staining, I barely brushed my teeth at all when I first got my braces. Lol, Gross. When she took them off for me I didn't have any stains. She also smoothed out my teeth and the glue is usually all on the back teeth, and they just scrape it off real easily. No big, I thought that also before I got them off.
they will wash your mouth with a somewhat saltey solution to dislodge the concrete and glues
then they remove the braces one by one
they will look discolored for about 2 or 3 days (because of the food you eat the colors will be different) after you switch back to solid foods (you might not be able to eat any for a few days)
they will look better and you will have a perfect shiny smile!
Hi I got my braces off about 2 months ago. Yes they will take all the glue off. The dental tech will also do a mini cleaning on your teeth and polish them and let me tell you they will be beautiful. As for slenderizing them I am not sure. A few of my teeth were filed on the edges but that was because I had a problem with my lower retainer.
it really depends on where you go/who your orthodontist is...some but this is rare...take it off with a little pick thing that doesn't hurt and others may soak your teeth in a solution to remove it...also some may use sorta like a sander thing; it rubs it off of your teeth..i don't think that they will leave marks because if they do you can use cheap whitening strips to fix it...i also am sorry but i don't think they will slenderize your teeth..i hope i could help
