Do braces worsen your teeth?
Do braces make it harder to brush your teeth and increase chances in bacteria stuck on your teeth? I have heard cases of people have yellow stains but I'm not sure if they could be scraped off.

this is not a first source answer, but my friend just got braces for the first time. she said that it's not hard, except when the food gets stuck in your braces. in order to prevent infections she has to brush her teeth everytime she eats and keep them clean. I hope this helps you :)
the good side to this is that it straightens your teeth out.
