Know anything about white strips for your teeth?!
Question: soo... i wanted to get those crest white strips or another brand... i don't know which brand to get. anyone have any idea? or does anyone know if they even work?

i work at cvs and everyone says they like aquafresh trays better becuase they whiten better. ive personally used both and i liked that the white trays dont taste as bad and i thought my teeth got alot whiter with the trays.
Crest ones work really well, but they make your teeth super sensitive.
i read somewhere that the aquafresh whitening things/trays work alot better than crest whitestrips..they did a study.
dont get crest..i used em twice, and both times, the whitening wasnt too good, and it didnt last more than a month..waste of money
They worked pretty well for me, but towards the end of the time of use they started hurting my teeth so I stopped. They do work well, kinda expensive, but worth it.
I have used the Crest White Strips before - they were recommended by my Dentist (as opposed to professional whiting) and they worked great, but I want to try the Auqufresh trays next time - I'm told they work better. Good luck! :)
Crest is the best I've found. I use the 10 day because they last for 18 months, vs. 7 day lasting for 12 months. They also have a daily strip I haven't used yet, but will in a few months. They make your teeth sensitive, so be prepared. Do NOT use Rembrandt. They leave spots whitened, while the rest of the tooth is not.
I bought those Equate Dental Strips and now my teeth are blinding white. After i was out of them i went to buy more and someone said i shouldnt use those because they ruin your enamal...They worked for me and my teeth are fine...I do recomend the Equate brand...only because i have only used that. but im sure there is nothing wrong with the Crest brand.

Crest Whitestrips do work, but they have a tendency to slide around in your mouth. I like the Oral B/Rembrant 'whitestrip'. These 2 companies came together to make this whitestrip that is a wax material, so when you put it on your teeth, your body heat warms it up and molds it to your teeth. It does a good job keeping the bleach where it should be. You can find this at any store, the package is a cylindrical shape that is silver with a blue top and bottom. The bleach is a bit stronger on these whitestrips, I think it's a 5-day treatment.
With any whitening, over the counter or professional, you can get tooth sensitivity. When you put on the strips, make sure you wipe off any bleach that oozes on to your gum tissues, if left on, it can 'burn' your tissues. Just wipe off any excess with your finger or toothbrush. If sensitivity is an issue, you can do the whitening every other day instead of every day. The sensitivity will be temporary, but you might experience it while you're whitening and a few days after your done with the whole treatment.
Over the counter whitening does work. It's the same chemicals used as the professional whiteners, just at a lower concentration. Therefore, over the counter whitening will need to be done more often (all depending on your habits; coffee, tea, smoking, cola, etc.)
