How do they take the bands off around your back teeth when you're getting your b!

How do they take the bands off around your back teeth when you're getting your braces off??
Do the actually like pull them off (cause that sounds really painful) or just cut them off

uhm im not too sure ((i have bands on the back of mine too)) but if it's anything like how they take out expander or nance bands on ur back teeth then they take these plier type lookin' things with a rubber grip on the tip they pretty much loosen itand take it off with that...it's sounds rly bad but it's rly not it kinda hurts but just hold it in lol...they might cut them off but i don't think soo they might chip ur tooth...Hope this helps!!
