Do braces hurt?
i am geting braces next week i alredy have spacers(which hurt) so could u tell me the steps and every thing i need 2 know about them

No, braces don't hurt.
They hurt when you get
them tightened though,
but after a few days your teeth
adjust and it no longer hurts.
Also I found that keeping my teeth clean
made my braces look nice, and I actually
used to get compliments on them!
Make sure you check and get all the food
out of them after you eat. Especially when
you eat bread.
There's also a brand of gum that you can chew
that wont stick to your braces. Ask your dentist,
He'll tell you.
And when you get them off, your teeth feel all
smooth and silky to your lips because you've
been so used to feeling rough braces.
Oh yea! Be very careful when you eat hard food
because you can break a wire or a bracket can come off.
