Why do I have pain from a completed root canal 2 years ago?

I am having pain in my bottom tooth when I bite down I had a root canal done about 2 years ago and I having problems with it now. I have had an ear infection for 3 weeks on the same side which isnt clearing up alot of pain in my gland area is this related in anyway???

I have been on medicine for 3 weeks now oral for the last 6 and ear drops for all 3 weeks nothing working

It some time happens and you will need to have a retreat of the root canal. The ear infection could be related, you should try to get on an antibiotic such as amoxicillin, and you should feel better with in 24 - 48 hours. Even though you will feel better you will still need to have the retreat, cause it will come back and be even worse
