Do braces hurt?
I have to get braces. BUT my other option is invisalign. What should I do?

I wouldn't recommend Invisalign. They can't fix ALL problems that can be fixed with metal braces. Plus, since the Invisalign braces fit right overtop of your teeth, it's obvious that you have a layer of plastic in your mouth, and it often causes you to lisp when you speak. I'm not a fan of them at all.
Metal braces won't HURT, but they only times they'll be sore is when you get them tightened. Then they'll be sore, you'll take Motrin, and it won't be sore anymore, lol. Plus they make your teeth look great and can fix a variety of problems that Invisalign braces can't.
If I were you, I'd definitely go for the metal braces. I did when I was younger and it turned out just fine. :)
