Unhappy with braces..?!
Question: my question is if its normal for your face (jaw line and cheek) to become real thin. Like b4 i had braces i actually had a jaw and my cheeks weren't like so inward. i think my ortho titened it too much and i asked him and he said he would make my teeth come out a little. a little doesn't seem like enough as my face has changed drastically. he also made me pull out like 4 teeth because i had no roots under some teeth which prob. adds to this. so...basically....im just venting my frustrations but if someone can offer any advise and answer the question cool.

The extractions have probably contributed to this. Unlike a dental retainer, braces don't develop your jaw and just move teeth, so this is most likely why. There's not much you can do about this, but try going to a different dentist for a 2nd opinion.
You features have changed from the braces so just it some time. I think you will like the results once you get used to the changes.
