Pulling out your own teeth.?!

Question: I Pulled out my own tooth a few minutes ago It was the first molar.
When I was 15 i went to the dentist for the first time and they told me that i needed a root canal on that tooth. My familiy didnt have the money so they did a pulpatomy and put a filling in. And here I am at 21 with this just awful breath. The filling had come out so im guessing that was the cause. i tried to pull it out once before but only managed to crush part of the tooth.
Well yesterday i noticed it was loose and began wiggleing it. When I pulled it out it didnt hurt at all. And it doesnt hurt now. Is that because they took out the nerve during the pulpatomy or because I let it go for so long untouched that there may be alot of damage.
I dont know I thought there would be a great deal of pain where there is none.

A root canal and a pulpotamy are the same thing. You basically don't have a root in your tooth and they inserted a metal piece up into your jaw bone. I have had 3 root canals done and the dentist would tell me every time that if i were to have to have a filling in the same tooth or any other work done on it, I probably wouldn't even need to be numbed up because once the root is gone the tooth doesn't have a nerve in it so you'll feel no pain. You shouldn't have pulled it but now it's too late. Just leave it be and hold salt water (don't swish) in your mouth and don't suck through a straw and all of the other things they tell you not to do when you get a tooth pulled and you'll be fine.

dude what were u thinking, i let a tooth that just need a filling i let go until it became root canal , it would cost me $160 i paid $1000, not go to a dentist have him make sure u the tooth did not damage ur jaw bone or other theeth, other that that dont **** around with ur mouth , no matter how much it cost pay it, you be glad in the future.

I just hope you don't get dry socket because you will be in alot of pain and I mean a lot of pain.
