My jaw feels num for hours? please help?!

Question: i had my dentist appoinment at 2 p.m, i got two shots inside my mouth and now it's alost 5 clock and i still feel num and sleepy...why isn't it going away? i feel hungry but i can't feel my jaw!

This is completely normal. Depending on the type of medication the dentist used you could be numb anywhere from 2-8 hours. Try to eat something soft and lay down for a while. It will be gone before you know it!
