Self-Ligating Braces?
I know these are slightly different than conventional braces. Is anyone familiar with them? I need to know how long I have to wear them, and will it hurt whenever they replace the wire in six weeks?? They hurt now, but... Yeah. Lol.
Answers:
Everybody has to wear them a different amount of time. When you have your wires changed it usually will make you a little sore. We use self ligating brackets at our office. They are supposed to work a bit faster than the regular ones. We haven't been using them very long and we only have a few patients in them. We haven't had any problems or complaints. You can really get the wire fully engaged into the brackets with those. I like them!! =-)
