Why I have tooth aches? PLEASE HELP?
I just got my retainer tightned on Tuesday. Right now my back teeth are killing me. I can talk and everything, but its my gums that hurt. Its no where else but my back theeth. Anyone have any ideas on why its hurting?

Will the pain go away after a few days? Im just nervous lol. I tried flossing and it hurt, wasn't much of a help

Your teeth may be moving since you had your retainer tightened. The pain is probably caused from them moving, try taking tylenol or ibuprofen for the discomfort and if it continues and you are worried, check with your dentist to make sure everything is okay.
To answer your additional question, the pain should get better within a few days. Your teeth and gums just have to adjust to being moved so hopefully you will feel better soon. Good luck!
