I'm going in for braces in about a month and i was just wondering...?
for anyone that has gotten braces, do people act differently around you? like make fun of you or stare dumbfounded at your mouth while you talk? i basically want to know if there will be any different treatment.

no one acted differently around me at alll. so many people have them these days that it's just normal. the first couple days after, people will say a few things but nothing really bad.
