Does loss of teeth affect how I speak?!
Question: I lost two teeth a year ago as a result of periodontal disease and my reluctance to see the dentist. Initially i did not notice I have speaking problems, then as i began to frequently stutter, i was reminded of the fact that i lost two teeth. But the strange thing is every time when i wake up in the morning, i can talk perfectly fine (without self-consciousness maybe?) And there is always a week or two in a month when I can talk fluently. I usually get pretty nervous when i talk to people. I am just not sure if my speaking problem is caused by my fear or loss of teeth. I am a college student and that means i need to talk a lot. That's why i am asking for some advices.

I don't think it would cause stuttering.
It would only affect pronunciation of the word.
I think it is a psychological problem.
Good Luck,
