Is it possible to over-use mouthwash?!

Is it possible to over-use mouthwash?

On the ACT anti-cavity mouthwash directions it says use once a day, but I use it about 4, if not more. Is this harmful?


Answers:

ACT is not really a mouthwash, it is a fluoride rinse and yes, it is possible to over use it. The ingestion of too much fluoride can stain you teeth, especially on young kids.
