Question: i have really straight teeh but my only problem is an overbite hwenever i smile it looks weird and it makes it hard to pronouce words how long will i have to wear braces?

How old are you? I had overbite too. My upper teeth would bite too deep so that sometimes I would bite my lower lip. I sometimes also heare my jaw popping when I chewed on food. I wore braces for 2 years when I was 18 years old. Now I have a perfect smile, perfect teeth, and all my teeth-related problems went away. I still have to wear retainers at night for the rest of my life, but trust me, it's worth it.
It all depends how large your overbite is and if you'll even need braces.
Usually you would just get rubber bands or aligners from how it sounds for you.
But if its like a major over bite then it would probably be a surgery.
