If you are 52, you can get dental insurance through AARP... it's through Delta Dental, and there are alot of participating providers all over the US who are signed up with it.

Check it out! Alot of my patients have it, and the monthly premiums are minimal.

The only 'problem' with it is that there is a waiting period for major work (crowns, bridges, dentures) but to be on the safe side, request that a pre-treatment estimate be submitted prior to any work you need.

Good luck to you.

Have y;o;u looked into getting dental ijnsurance? I know it's a lot of money a month but if u need a ton of dental work it will pay off in the end. I need a lot of work, and so far I've only paid about 2 grand for last years work after my insurance paid the first grand. Try looking for a pro bono dentist. That's what I'm looking for right now cuz I need dentures and I don't have the money for the rest of my extractions and the upper plate right now and I'm only 30 yrs old.

You should try UCLA dental; there is nothing there regarding income that disqualifies a patient for treatment. The fees at dental schools are very reasonable, (you almost only pay for the materials used) but the time it takes to complete treatment is longer, since the dentistry is being provided by students

Have you checked UCLA, USC , AND Loma Linda?? They should be really up for getting patients, since there's so much competition in the area. They should have no income cap, especially USC and Loma Linda. Please look into them. I'm sure you can get good help at an one of those schools
