I woke up with a furry tongue today?!
Question: but i don't know what this means, as it's never happened before. i also have the same sort of coating around the inside of my mouth. can anyone tell me what this is, if it's something to worry about, and how i can sort it out please?

You're probably just dehydrated or else you have a cold or something that has caused you to sleep with your mouth open. If you smoke you may get a darkly stained fue and this can be lightened in colour by sucking on a peach stone or sucking some pineapple chunks. It is not anything serious but I understand that it would be unpleasant.

If it persists go to the doc . Could be thrush, digestive problem, overworked liver, hangover.......no point guessing
Cut back on carbs and dairy foods
It may be Thrush. Have you been on antibiotics recently? that can cause Thrush. Ask your pharmacist for some gel to treat it
