I now have rubberband in my mouth okay only people with braces will know well anyways how do you change it?

would you change it every 4 to 5 hours or change it 3 times a day and how would you do it 3 times a day if you can help i would really appreciate it. ( the dentist told me to change it 3 times a day but then she said 4 to 5 hours im not sure anymore) so please help me.

You change your rubberbands after every meal, thats 3 times for breakfast, dinner and tea, after eating they get stretched and change colour....sometimes they can turn flourescent green with certain foods! Then sleep through the night with the ones you put in after tea time.

Always have some spare with you, because if you yawn they can snap! Also, be careful as they have a habit of snapping whilst you eat and you can end up with cornflakes and rubber for breakfast.

edit to add, sometimes, after using then for a while, the hooks you attach them too can bend a little and catch on your inside cheeks and make it sore. If you get some special wax from the dentist, you can roll it into a little ball and push it over the hook to stop the sharp edge and relive the pain and stop it damaging the soft tissues of your cheeks.
