What happens after all your wisdom teeth grows?!
Question: Sometimes wisdom teeth are fine and they perform just like all the other teeth in your mouth. Usually, they are not as stron...and are more prone to decay. They may also put undo pressure on the rest of your teeth. For these reasons and a bunch more, dentists like to 'get them out of there' so you don't have problems. If you are at all afraid of the dentist...you probably haven't been for awhile. The worst thing that happens is shot of novacain...and that is NO big deal. Talk to you dentist..go in and have a check up and let them take some x-rays..then you'll know what is the best thing to do. I can't stress enough.....it doesn't hurt to go to the dentist anymore. If they pull the wisdom teeth..your mouth will hurt for a few days....the dentist will give you a RX for pain medication...people will be extra nice to you..and you get to watch TV full time! Don't worry about it...get your teeth checked...they are YOUR teeth...nobody is going to do anything to them that you don't want done. ? ?

Most often the wisdom teeth end up having to be pulled. Sometimes they have to be cut out by an oral surgeon. It just depends on the individual and the tooth. They can also become abscessed.
In my case there was not enough room in my mouth for them!
I don't know anyone who was able to keep their wisdom teeth.
