Dental implants?
Has anyone over 65 had dental implants, and if so can you tell me what the treatment was like. It sounds terrible but maybe someone can tell me the reality of how painful it is, how long it took the gums to heal before the teeth were fixed on and how eating was during treatment period. I have been told it takes 3 months between implant and actual tooth fixing. Any info would be helpful and a rough cost per tooth if possible, as I have been getting prices in Spain which seem a lot less than UK dentists.

I have two implants it takes about two weeks after the "spikes" are inserted for the gums to settle then they put the caps on. Hope you don't drink red wine the caps are a ***** for staining from it.
