Hard lump where I had my wisdom teeth extracted???!

Question: I have a hard lump on my right and left mandibular (lower) jaw where I got my wisdom teeth extracted (1 year ago). Could this just be the bone that has grown back? The lumps have been there a while but I got a cavity filled today on the adjacent tooth of one of the lumps & all of a sudden the lump hurts especially when I open my mouth. Could this be anything besides the bone growing back? I'm kinda nervous?

I have had the same problem, I had all 4 of mine cut out a year and 4 months ago and the lumps are just now starting to go down pretty good they still flare up a little sometimes and give me an earache when they do, but less frequently than they did before.

Its actually normal. We have bone in our jaw. I had a tooth extracted and my Dentist told me that I could possibly feel a lump or even have bone fragments . So its not completely uncommon....but if your having pain, consult the dentist or Oral Surgeon who extracted the tooth,
