Jaw stiffness after wisdom teeth removal?!
Question: I just had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday and have experienced no pain at all. It didn't seem like there was too much trauma because they were able to remove the tooth in one piece. However, my jaw is really stiff and it is difficult to open and my molars don't seem to fit together. Is this normal and ok? It's just annoying more than anything.

I had all 4 removed at once. I could not open my mouth for a week! I think it has something to do with how they have your mouth pried open for so long...
It's normal to have stiffness....the pressure that the dentist had to apply to your jaw to get the tooth out is whats causing it.
