Red Gums? Anyone....?!

Question:

Red Gums? Anyone....?

When I brush my teeth, one section always turns red. The entire gum does not turn red, just one little section under one little tooth. Is there anything wrong? I do wear braces, but I've had this problem before I got the braces on. Can anyone help me? Do I have a gum disease? What should I do?

Answers:

You might have plaque under the gumline where you can't reach it. Do yourself a favor and go to a specialist..a periodontist. They will be able to treat it and teach you how to care for your gums properly.
