I have a tiny brown speck right where the tooth meets the gum. This brown speck is convex and the gum tends to bleed slighty in this area when I brush. Do I need some sort of filling?
Answers:
As a dentist this does sound like a cavity has began to form on your tooth. You should consider seeing your regular dentist pretty soon as this tooth will need to have an x-ray and be treated (ex: filled) before the possible cavity becomes larger or becomes infected. Good luck!
