Question: my tooth really hurt for about 2 days.then my cheek on that side of mouth start to swell up a LOT.

If it's not just a tooth growing in (I don't know your age), then I would suggest you see a dentist. When teeth erupt, the gums and cheek can feel sore, expecially if it is the wisdom teeth. You are really better going to the dentist to be sure that you don't have a bad cavity that has become infected, or abscessed.
That is something serious that can cause the symptoms you are describing and there is no way to tell the difference unless a dentist checks in your mouth or takes an x-ray.
It is better to be safe than sorry. The dentist would rather you come in and find out you don't have a problem than wait till a bigger problem.
In the meantime, you can take some Advil or Tylenol, as an anti-inflammatory and pain-killer. I hope this helps you.
it's difficult to examine ur tooth from her, and ur description was not enough.. which tooth, ur age... etc.
anyway u have to take some medicines like metronidazole, clyndamicine, Amoxycilline and pain killers..
{i should not give u the doses of the medicins because i don't know ur age and ur medical history} ..until u visit the dentist.... but i advice u to visit the dentit before...
