Anbesol and other compnaies make oral Gels.
It burns like hell at first, but then deadens the pain and leaves a protective film over the ulcer, allowing you to eat and talk without pain for awhile.
any number of things can cause an ulcer; eating sharp foods can cause a tear in your mouth, leading to an ulcer. certain diseases can manifest as oral ulcers too.
A quick way to help with the pain is to purchase something called OraBase at your local drug store, like walgreens or rite-aid. Its a gel-like membrane you apply over your ulcer, and that prevents any painful stimuli on it. Another thing you can do is to take lysine pills. Lysine helps with the speeding up the connective tissue building process in the mouth, but it will take a couple of days for you to feel the effect.
Take some Folic acid tablets.
Gargle with Biotene mouthwash-2 or 3 times a day.
Eat as much yogurt as you can.
Cut down caffeine.
Dont eat very spicy foods,acidic foods.
Reduce stress level in your life.
Take only Tylenol for the pain.
Eat dinner early in the evening.
It will take time but try what I have told you.
gargle with salt water few times a day
