In a healthy person, are sensitive gums caused by aging?!


Question:

In a healthy person, are sensitive gums caused by aging?

Mine used to be sensitive just to cold, but now it's heat as well, and the feeling of the toothbrush.

(I don't smoke and I floss and brush regularly.)

Update: I use Sensodyne and it helps but doesn't kill the pain entirely.

your gums shrink back a little as you get older usually causing sensitive teeth and gums,sensodyne toothpaste is brilliant and will stop sensitivity.
