Will teeth whitening make enamel erosion look better or worse?!

Question:

Will teeth whitening make enamel erosion look better or worse?

I want to have my teeth done but I have slight erosion on the tips of my front teeth that you can hardly see but I notice it. Will teeth whitening make it look better or worse? What do you think? My teeth are an okay colour but I would like them whiter!

When I look at the very tips of my front teeth they look slightly transparant. There is no 'white spots' or anything like that. You can only see my problem when I'm up close with my mouth open!

Answers:

Are you calling erosion the whitish areas on the tips of some teeth or is it areas on your enamel that are chipped away? Erosion is actually a wearing away. Enamel mottling is white spots. Sometimes the teeth will lighten to match the white areas better, but sometimes it makes the white areas whiter. No real way to know unless you try it.
