Question: See I have a bf who have tongue ring and i've been interested in piercing my tongue. I pierced my ears and I have 6 pierce each ear and I still want more. I'm thinking about getting my belly done too, but tongue ring I really want to have one it's just that it can get infected and chip my teeth and i heard more to it. How do you need to take care of your tongue ring? I meant what do you need to watch out for when you have one?

you should get it peirced!! yes there can be complications, but that goes for anything in life.

i wanted to got mine done and dont regret it. i wasnt painful getting it done just quite sore a couple of hours later and for a few days. you just have to eat a lot of ice blocks!! haha

i dont have it peirced any more but thats only because i grew out of it i guess, and didnt really suit the job i was doing. and my partner got sick of it too... must of had it for a couple of years...

as for chipping your teeth, they are bad for that, but you can always get a plastic bar, (there are heaps of cool ones around) or you can get ones where the little ball that screws on is plastic or rubber. but i think i chipped more teeth from eating hard food than having my tounge peirced...

totally up to you though, but i say go for it.

I had one years ago, but my tounge was too short...i took it out after 3 weeks, my mouth was swollen, i couldnt eat and it bloody hurt. I guess you need to watch for signs of infection, make sure the person who does it doesnt pierce the vein in your tounge, its unlikey that you will have your teeth chipped. Go to a professional person and if you can get through the first few weeks of not eating and pain you will be right.

It's not 'unlikely' you'll have your teeth chipped
People with tongue piercings chip their teeth alottttttt.

Belly piercings are much cuter, and not to mention much safer, piercings.

There are alot of risks when it comes to getting your tongue pierced.
