Question: am geting brace and alot of people telling me that to take Advil or Tylenol am like kinda of kid i don't take pills yet and do they have different stuff like liquad or something and get at me on AIM dadatoraw and on Yahoo IM is dadawillsonhome

Take a small amount of Tylenol one hour before your appointment.
I would suggest taking what ever dose of advil is right for you half an hour before your appointment and then when your braces are on get some of this gel called anbesol, it will numb your gums and make it so you don't feel any pain. Its also a good idea to have a lot of cold things in the house to eat such as ice pops and also soft things like yogurt and applesauce and jello.
honeslty, people say to take medicine before you get your braces on, but in my opinion, it doesn't lessen the pain much
