Are Headaches linked to braces in any way?!


Question: I have been getting alot headaches recently and recently if got my braces on i also had a number of teeth out. Could this be linked to my headaches ???

headaches are definetly linked to haveing braces as well as some of the applicances if you have any (like rubber elastics) they are because the movement of your teeth is a bit painful and the teeth are obviously in your jaw.. the pressure from the movement can give you headaches, pressure headaches, as well as sinus headaches. i hope i helped...remember to take advil or tylonal:)

Yeah they are called pressure headaches I got them too, b/c when you first get braces your teeth start to move tremendously!
Take Tylenol! IT helps!

The other person is completely right. Motrin or Advil helps if Tylenol doesn't though

Yes believe it or not they are.

It usually happens when you get your braces tightened or first get them.

The roots of your teeth have pressure put on them causing you to possibly get a headache.
