I used the professional strength version from my friend who was an RDA at the time. It made my teeth so sensitive that it wasn't worth it. It made my teeth hurt and ache and I would rather have yellow teeth.
I have used Crest Whitening strips in the past. I used them for about 2 weeks before I saw (& others saw) a difference. But, then, after a month's time my teeth began to become very sensitive to cold. I mean really bad! So, I went to my dentist and he said the strips were to blame. I would really talk to your dentist first, if I were you. I still am having problems with sensitivity, and it's been a year.... and yes, they left a bad taste in my mouth as you are not supposed to brush your teeth afterwards for a few hours.
