Rammed in the face?!

Question: About 3 or 4 years ago, I was accidentally hit in the jaw by my friend (at a sports camp). Anyways, he accidentally ran into me full speed, and his shoulder was rammed into my face. I was fine at the time, but soon my jaw started to (audibly) crack.

Until recently, my jaw never hurt me one bit. Now, it constantly feels stiff or sore, even if i'm not eating or chewing gum, etc.

I've gotten braces to fix my teeth, because after the hit, my bite shifted. I've been told if I want to relieve the pain and get better teeth, I'd need surgery to fix my jaw.

Are there any other options than going under the knife?

your dentist will know how to advise you...before surgery of any kind make sure you talk to several specialists...this could be a big deal. Often times the jaw cracking and aching will go away..

sorry but i dont think do it will be worth it though probably here a link though
