Im gettin braces tom.and i already have the herps appliance on. Will they put the braces on top of the herps?

im gettin braces tom.and i already have the herps appliance on. Will they put the braces on top of the herps? He said i have 5 more months of herps, but i dont think its possible to put braces on top, cause i have so much metal in my mouth already. Also any w/experience with herps and braces, does it hurt with both on if they do that? I could eat at first for a week with the appliance, so I dont want to have that problem again, so will it be like that?

it is an object that goes on the top/bottom foy uor mouth, with 2 bars going up on each side. I think it helps rotate your mouth and widen it;

The Herps is used to stretch your palate. Most likely it will stay in during the braces until the teeth are in the position that is needed. I've seen some patients who only had braces on one arch for several months. Maybe that is what will happen to you. Braces on lower, Herpes on top??????

Braces is not really my area, but I've cleaned lots of them over the years. I know some things about them, just not real technical stuff.
