Braces question..?!

Braces question..?

i have braces...i have a few questions.

well ive had them for almost a year. and my teeth are like perfect & my ortho. wants me to go in to have x-rays. does this mean i might get them off soon?

also...i dont no if i should go in to get this fixed...my bracket the metal is like stretched kind of....idk if this needs to be replaced. does it? its kind of hard to explain..

I had braces for 4 years. You should be close enough to getting them off, but don't be too sure. I had my xray done in April '05 and still didn't get them off until November '05. I think when they saw the xray they knew what else needed to be done, you'll probably see the xray and think they look perfectly straight to you, but they'll know when something isn't right. And it's a good thing right, I mean you do want your teeth perfectly straight don't you?

And about the bracket, i would call them and let them know that you think something is wrong with your bracket, so that way when you go in for you next appointment, they'll be aware of it ahead of time.
