Go to the chemist and ask for Toofy Pegs. It fills the hole until your dentist can.

Hi,go to your local chemist store and get some "gutta persha" it is sold in a stick and you break a piece off and put into the hole as a temporary measure until you can get if fixed properly.I hope this helps,i have used it and it is quite effective at keeping the cold air out and stopping toothache.

Dental repair kits are readily available at large high street chemists and supermarket pharmacies, and many dental surgeries now stock them too.

An example of the product would be ToofyPegs (Yahoo it and take a look). A large Boots store should be able to supply something similar.

Such kits normally consist of a filling resin (often two-part, which you have to mix in accordance with the manufacturers' directions), and usually a spatula or similar small instrument to apply the resin to the affected tooth. It normally hardens on place within a few minutes.

It is extremenly important, if you are using such products, to note the following points:
1. They should not be used for long-term fixes. You still need to see your dentist as soon as possible.
2. You must ensure that the tooth is as clean as possible before you insert the temporary filling material, or you may seal in bacteria and promote the development of an infection.
3. It is not a perfect fix. Whilst the dressing will help to avoid the extremes of discomfort caused by temperature changes in the mouth, you should still expect some remaining discomfort and you should certainly avoid eating biting on the tooth as the temporary filling does little or nothing to aid structural integrity.

I hope this is some help to you.

Good luck!

Get it from your chemist!

Go to your local chain drugstore. There is a temporary filling that you can purchase to fill that hole. I've used it and the dentist commended me on finding and using the stuff. He said that it kept a lot of debris out of the hole and probably lessened the necessary grinding to prepare for the new filling.

go to a diffrent dentist, or a promp care

idk

They have temporary filling material in Boots. It is a chalky white colour but it will stop food getting trapped and will reduce the sensitivity.
