How do you know if your retainers fit?

i just got my retainers today. when i bite down, its not really even. its like if i bite all the way down, im afraid im going to break my retainers. how do i know if it fits properly?


Answers:

If they hurt your teeth when you put them on. And if you take them off it feels as if your teeth just took a sigh of relief!
