The dentist office today told me about how my insurance does not cover the white fillings if it is a molar, but that they do pay for some of a silver white torte ( I think is what I heard on the message) anyways maybe I have this wrong?

im a dentist myself n there is no such material which u mentioned...either its silver filling or a white. wht sometimes happen is tht because its a back tooth so it is supposed to have nothing to do with esthetics so some insurance companies dont cover tht but most of them do. or sometimes the dentist fill it with a whitish cement called GIC or Fuji if its appropriate. Anyways ask ur dentist to describe the term to u
