Orthodontist help, quick please?!

Question: Ok well I have braces only on my top teeth though. And well tomorrow 1/30/08 I have a ortho appointment at 9:30am. I'mma get my bottom braces on, and well last week I went to get my spacers to put new bands on my new molars. Well slight problem, I was eating potato chips right now, and some of it went between my gums and the spacer. Then I think when I was eating more chips, I ate my spacer...I don't feel anything there no more where my spacer used to be. Will they get mad at me..?

rotfl! oh mannnn. what a laugh. im sorry, hun but you have to admit this is funny. your doctor shouldn't show get angry at you, might get a little frustrated but if his angry, then thats plain rude. i doubt he will be though! and, maybe you didn't eat it.. maybe it just fell out..somewhere else.

Maybe, but they won't stay mad. Who could stay mad at you?

They wont get mad, it happens, and it probably wont be a big deal sense it happened so close to when you get your braces on.
Worst case scenario you have to get the spacer put back in for a little while but that doesn't seem likely to me.

ha ha ha
everybody does this at least once
so they heard it before
so don't let them bully you
no more chips!!!
lol

Oh they shouldn't get mad for THIS.

Its very unlikely for them to get mad.

But its happens sometimes.

But don't worry about anything.

Just brush really good there and use mouthwash.

The spacer should just come out in the toilet.
