I think it should be allowed. It's not like it destracts you. All you do is chew. And it's human nature so it comes naturally...Gum should be allowed!
Yes it should. It has been scientifically proven that gum helps remember things and think better. one of my teachers doesnt care if we chew gum during a test, because it helps your memory.

It's allowed at my school (in msot classes) as teachers believe it helps concentration.
totally. i hate it when there are rules against it. completely rediculous.
I work in a school and one of the grade 7 classes put together a whole presentation to show the Principal about why they should be allowed to chew gum in class. They worked hard on it, their teacher did give them some credit for it. The teacher then set up an appointment time with the principal, the kids presented their work and the principal made her decision.
Maybe you could present this idea to your teacher and class.
The final outcome: Principal said no. Yours may not though!

Well, if they're not going to break the school equipment and stick it everywhere then maybe yes, but around me, usually no.
Since the people on my campus stick it everywhere that does not move.
