I chipped a very small part of my tooth off..?!

Question: I was drinking from a glass and wasn't paying attention, I went to take a drink and BAM it hit right on one of my front teeth. It's a very small chip but it feels very weird when I try to eat things like rice, pasta, etc. It's not even noticeable but I want to eat these foods without the annoying tooth being in my way, do I need to see a dentist? Or is it too small to fix?

You could have it fixed if it is an esthetic problem for you. Or the dentist could round off the rough edges so it doesn't cut you. I would try to avoid biting on this tooth for awhile.

You may have traumatized the tooth, if it feels funny when you eat. Sometimes your tooth can recover if the trauma was not too bad. But if you notice your tooth start getting darker, as in more yellow, you'll have to see a dentist and probably get a root canal. The nerve could die on its own from the trauma. That's what happened to my front tooth.

go c dentist it mite not be a prob at all, he/she mite b able 2 jus smooth it off. Or if its filling it would b very easy to do. best of luck.

You should go to a dentist....they can definety help you. I recommend having your tooth fialed. But that's just me lol :) I REALLY hope this helps :)
