jamrdh is correct, many patients have had to be placed on a narcotic pain medication for a few days due to the hypersensitivity caused from the dehydration of their teeth by using this product and their one hour method.
Perhaps you should check out the dental bleaching tray method, it's much more practical, economical, pain free because you control the length of time worn, and your dentist can help you with the strength of the solution used. The tray method also offers you the opportunity to touch up your teeth months later when they start getting darker from drinking coffee, tea, wines and sodas, without any added expense. With most of the solutions you only have to wear the trays a couple of weeks for under 30 minutes a day. Hope I've been of some help and good luck with your dental bleaching!
Additional information: The Brite Smile procedure is a one hour light cure bleaching process and generally last for about six months, claiming to last a year or some even say it's permanent, when it's not. Cost is usually over or around $500.00 depending on what the dentist wants to charge. The bleaching tray system cost much less and I feel more effective. I hope you will check into both methods.
