Why do people leave the water running while they brush their teeth?
There is absolutely 100% no reason to leave the water running while you brush. It wastes water and accomplishes nothing. You can save lots of money and help the environment by turning off the water while you brush.

I agree. I'm in Ca and like the other poster, in school, they taught us early on. There were programs every year. Now, I put several big cups in all the bathrooms and suggest guests use those instead of running water. Or if they like to run it, place a big cup under it to catch it then use that. =)
