How long do spacers hurt for?!
Question: I got my spacers in on tuesday the 29th and today is the 30th and they have to stay in until the 8th. They are hurting alot right now and I was wondering if I have to look forward to this pain the entire ten days or do the spacers stop hurting at some point? Also is it okay if one of my spacers isnt exactly centered between my teeth but more to the side and sticking up a little? Please help, this is not a fun time at all. I cant wait for my braces.

The bad news is that your braces will hurt, too. But only for a short time after you have them adjusted every month (or whenever you have them adjusted). They should hurt for a day or two. I think the spacers will hurt for another day or two and then feel better -- maybe just uncomfortable. The spacer you're worried about is probably fine -- all it has to do is create a space between the teeth, so it shouldn't matter what side of the tooth it's on, but if you're concerned, call you dentist and ask. It won't be a big deal.
3 days max but be careful after like 5 days they might fall out.

anyway, don't worry about that, u'll be fine next days, i think it will not take 10 days....
but after ASKING ur dentist u can take some pain killers to make it easy for u....
all the ways u'll be fine, i'm sure... but don't think too much in your teeth and the pain , try to ignore it and enjoy ur life
