Is there really any "cure" or at least tips to stop grinding my teeth?!

Question: I grind my teeth at night due to anxiety I was experiencing a while back. Well, my anxiety is gone, but I still grind my teeth at night and clentch my jaw during the day without noticing. I know I need to get a night gaurd to prevent any teeth damage, but I want to stop this all together; any suggestions?

What you need is a nightguard. You need to visit a dentist or a dental college and have a custom made nightguard made. Custom made to your mouth is the best. You wear it every night to protect your teeth. If that is too expensive visit a dental hygiene college clinic and have a "athletic mouthguard" made. It is pretty much the exact same thing as made in a private dental office as a nightguard. Dont tell them you want it to wear at night. Pretend you want it for a sport.
Visit www.ada.org for local dental and dental hygiene colleges in your state.
In mass athletic mouthguards are made at dental hygiene schools for about 10 dollars.

Go to Walmart. Sports section. Get a football player tooth guard (they're like 97 cents). Put it on at night..
Works great! And much less spendy then the dentist.

The night guard should help. Any way you might still be stressed about stuff? Try something to help you relax before bed. a bath, a cup of sleepy tea, something that you like to do to relax.

It's called an occlusal guard- the inexpensive ones are widely available at drug stores and chain retailers-

if that doesn't help you should see your dentist who will make a custom one for you. ((more expensive!))

i grind my teeth to at night, but im afraid of choking on a mouth guardl ol

You could try a mouth guard.

maybe a dentist could reccomend you an appliance (discreet) for at night and during the day which you remove whenever but it just protects those pearly whites :)
